Have you noticed that a lot of lesbians (as in a lot) wear messenger bags? It seems like the vest, we have owned messenger bags as a piece of accessory.
Myself, I have noticed that when I do not go to the office, I actually prefer wearing a messenger bag – it is comfortable and is stylish, in a lesbian dyke sort of way. I personally prefer ethnic looking messenger bags – it gives me an atrsy feel.
What kind of messenger bag do you own? Does it define your identity as a lesbian? Perhaps this is the coming of age of a new icon – a messenger bag that will forever change the identity and fashion culture of lesbians.
