For couples who have been together for a long time, I know that sometimes it can’t be helped. Scheduling the deed can be as obsessive-compulsive as marking calendars, or as simple as setting a time in your mind where both parties will be energized, in-the-mood and can perform well.

But then again, if you’re partners with somebody, shouldn’t you always be in the mood, wanting to perform well and be energized anyway?

Do you keep love letters from your lesbian lovers?

As some of you might know, a big flood and storm devastated our city last October 2009, and our house was submerged up to the roof. We have since then recovered, but until today I’m still cleaning (more like clearing) boxes of things that have been destroyed by the flood.

Anyway, the last box for me to clean was the box of childhood memorabilia I tucked away once upon a time. I cleaned it up only today because I had a hard time accepting that these well-documented moments from my early lesbian days could be gone. It contained letters from high school friends and lovers, some of which I even forgot existed.

They become lovelier with age. And, some leave an aftertaste.

I came upon this realization last night as I was having dinner and drinking with some lesbian friends, mostly of mature age. Fortunately (unfortunately?), most lesbians agree.

As I am growing older year by year, I find that I become more mature, wiser, and more assertive of my needs and wants. As well as being more knowledgeable on giving what my partner wants too.

I hope a lot of people share this tiny piece of thought. Lets drink to it, shall we?

Caught in the act while in the sack

All lesbian couples are having sex.

Because we can’t say “lets wait until marriage”, there is no reason not to sleep with each other. In fact, it may be the whole point of actually hooking up. I don’t think “I’m not ready” works here – that would be the greatest insult your partner can take, and eventually, after 3 days of releasing the statement perhaps, you wouldn’t be a couple then.

I had a high school girlfriend once, and nothing happened between us. Does that count? I don’t think so. We were 13.

So let me rephrase my statement: All lesbian couples over the age of 16 having sex. Or had one. Unless they had the eventual lesbian bed death and started making up lame sexcuses.

So whats our conclusion? Sex is actually more lesbian friendly than it is to heterosexual people.

Scientifically speaking, being adverse to age gaps has its evolutionary purposes. Decreased child-bearing and child-rearing capabilities is obvious. However, when we look at gay couples, this argument doesn’t hold through as much, right?

Because lesbians undergo a generally more-stressed childhood (imagine not being accepted by your peers), we can say that lesbains are generally more delayed when in comes to getting acquainted with the better pleasures of the world. Worst case would be when they’re stuck in some hick homophobic town and getting laid with anyone becomes akin to chasing after an Olympic gold.

But then again, lesbians are generally more open to sexual exploration (they probably wouldn’t notice they were gay unless they were). So curiosity about the human anatomy is likely to come in more earlier. The bigger challenge would be to find someone to share that curiosity with.
