Perhaps jumping the gun and fearlessly predicting the legalization of gay marriage, there is now a lesbian edition of the iPhone application iPropose.

For those who don’t know what iPropose is, it is an application designed simply to extract a yes out of your loved one. “Make sure the most important event of your lives happens inside your life’s most important gadget. And with iPropose, that special someone will know you really care. iPropose is 100% guaranteed to result with a “YES” or your money back!,” they say.

Has anybody ever noticed that Pope Benedict XVI looks a lot like Emperor Palpatine?

It’s been going on for a while in the blogosphere and I guess I’m too late to catch on, but its so funny I’m reposting them anyway.

And so, the world is fair after all.

Iceland leads the world in what would be a historic feat: the landing of an openly gay woman as head of state. Johanna Sigurdardottir (how the heck do you pronounce that?), social affairs minister of Iceland, is the Social Democratic Alliance Party’s apple of the eye to lead an interim government. And she is G-A-Y GAY!

What Was Kelly Clarkson Thinking?

Every lesbian out there has always had a crush, at some point in their lives, with Kelly Clarkson. The powerful belter can croon her way into our heart through powerful vocals and invoking emotions that could make you break up or make up with that special flame.

I always had Kelly Clarkson songs on top priority in my iTunes. Unfortunately, it looks like the playlist will stop now.

Posted by Lesfriendly.com - The lesbian blog | Posted in Movies | Posted on 27-01-2009

Imagine you – hot, chick lesbian just coming out of the Hollywood closet. You embark on a major make-over: you die your hair black, snip it Shane style, and ditch your flower dresses for something cooler – like leather coats. Anyway, the world (and the girls of it) is on your fingertips. You wink and someone notices, you sneeze and someone hands over a tissue. Somebody says you should be in the movies. “Great idea!,” you exclaim.

Or so you thought. Be careful- you just might find yourself stuck in the worst roles any lesbian could play *ever*. Here they are:

Kate Beckinsale’s Doppelganger in Underworld 3

Posted by Lesfriendly.com - The lesbian blog | Posted in Movies | Posted on 26-01-2009

I’ve always been a Beckinsale baby. I liked her in Underworld. I like her in Click. I liked her in Underworld 2. And I couldn’t wait until they released Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans – the much anticipated prequel to the much loved series where girls like me drool at our lovely British actress.

To my half disappointment, Kate is seen for about 10 seconds in the whole movie. Read the rest of this entry »

I opened my Facebook this morning and saw an invite for an online march for gay marriage rights. The online march will be run through Facebook only and will last all through out the Obama inauguration week.

Entitled Equality Matters, the campaign’s website says it launched last December 27. It outlines 1,138 reasons to support gay marriage and equal rights. Am I the online who just caught up with this agenda this week?

Like most girls of my generation, I collected Barbie Dolls when I was, say, 7-12 years of age. I had this huge wooden Barbie house where my cousins and I played dolls all day long. We each had a floor (and I remember my youngest cousin always crying becasue she got the bottom-most floor always) and we did our own little room decorations using makeshift tiny furniture and boxes. I had about 45 Barbie dolls. Not a single one is left today. Anyway, of course we had to invent Barbie brides and Barbie weddings and Barbie babies and Barbie families. But Ken didn’t quite cut it. He was too rough for Barbie. Read the rest of this entry »
